With limits now on face-to-face interaction, this programme uses self-perception tools, analysis of real challenges and highly interactive virtual meetings to delve deeper into the meanings of leadership for each of us.

Leadership in context – 2 hours interactive virtual workshop

Remote working has accelerated due to the pandemic, putting increased pressure on leaders to re-examine how they influence their teams’ and organisations’ cultures and priorities.

For: leaders who have an influence on team and organisational culture.

Includes: Pre-event questionnaire leadership priorities

Covers: challenges facing a leader in these uncertain times; the impact of ‘culture’ and how a leader influences this; distinguishing concerns for leadership and management, people and task; and identifying relative strengths and improvement areas.

Benefits: identifying improvements to align organisational culture with the organisation’s strategy; and action planning to address development needs for the organisation and the team.

Choosing leadership behaviour – 2 hours interactive virtual workshop

The pandemic has challenged how we as leaders relate to our team members.  It is therefore especially important to be aware of our leadership behaviour and use the appropriate behaviours to lead and develop individual team members.

For: leaders who are responsible for the performance of individual team members and who wish to find ways to develop them.

Includes: Pre-event questionnaire – leadership styles

Covers: different leadership behaviours – from control to empowerment; impacts of choosing the wrong leadership behaviour; factors that affect the choice of leadership behaviour; and matching appropriate behaviour to each situation.

Benefits: identifying realistic development opportunities to increase performance of team members; and action plan to adapt personal leadership behaviour to different situations and the different needs of team members.

Developing our own leadership style – 2 hours interactive virtual workshop

How we communicate has been transformed by the pandemic.  As leaders, we need to recognise the impacts of our leadership style in this setting and be more aware of how we can apply it in different contexts.

For: leaders who wish to explore, understand and develop their own personal leadership style

Includes: Pre-event questionnaire – personal strengths and relationships

Covers: what we personally value and its impacts on our behaviour and performance; recognising personal strengths and overdone strengths; how these affect our approach to leadership, decision making, working and communicating with others, conflict, influencing and engaging, and career choice.

Benefits: personal action plan that identifies development needs as a leader and how to apply these in practical situations in work and everyday life.
